Lake Overlook Reatreat is an 1824 sqft lakefront cottage situated on 3.5 acres. It is only 15 minutes from Duke and 20 minutes from UNC. Sorry, absolutely no animal of any kind due to severe allergies of the homeowners. While we cannot guarantee an allergy-free home, we use only eco-friendly cleaners and products. Some of the bath products may contain allergens but they are also eco-friendly. We strive to be as friendly to those wit  environmental allergen issues as possible.

Escape the intensity of the world with your own private paradise — an oasis in the middle of the Triangle! Imagine strolling down to the waterside after dinner to watch the sunset over the lake, enjoying a glass of wine on your own private dock. Or taking a quick swim in the morning for exercise. Powered boats aren’t allowed so there’s no motor noise to upset your fishing or just laying back with some tea and a good book.

Your hosts, Jaime and Jonathan, are nature lovers who live at the property part time to carketake the land and renovate.  This is our forever home and we are offering it as vacation rental while we help my father recover from a bone marrow transplant. We are working hard to make this home as comfortable and well stocked as possible.
